NAACP Scholarship Awards

Each year the Seacoast NAACP awards scholarships to local students of color. We hope you’ll encourage students of color to apply for our scholarship program, and tune in to cheer on the recipients of this year’s awards!

Black History Month

Black history is American history. There is no greater time to dig into local and national Black history than in February, when resources are plentiful. We encourage you to use February as a time of learning and reflection.

Community Picnic

The NAACP Community Picnic is a great time to get together and enjoy the seacoast with your friends and neighbors. Catch up with old friends and meet new ones! This is a family friendly event! Takes place in August.

Juneteenth Celebrations

Each year on June 19th communities gather and celebrate a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the US.

Freedom Fund Dinner Dance

One of our most popular events of the year, we hope you’ll join us for our annual Freedom Fund Dinner Dance! This event helps fund our work. This is a time to dress up and get down! We can’t wait to see you there!

Member Holiday Gathering

There is no better time to get together in gratitude and celebration than during the holiday season. We exist on the passion of our volunteers, and this is an opportunity to celebrate you!
